A Roaring Experience with Dinos Alive Sneak Peek

DINOS ALIVE WORLD TOUR 2008 IN MANILA

November 17, 2008 – There are three big F’s in life loved by the Filipinos; Family, Friends and Fun! From social outings, vacations, or even just a trip to the mall, name it and most people are in it for the entertainment, better yet if it involves all the three F’s.

One of the choice destinations for excursions or “barkada” trips are theme parks. These places immerse audience in a sensory experience that titillates our imagination. With the approaching festive season and school holidays, people are scratching their heads on what new little treat to partake in. Of course fun and comfort is the key consideration, but what if you could throw in something educational for the family and it is easy on the pockets too. How about taking a simulated journey to the past…65 million years ago?

The Event of the Year
Dinosaurs Alive World Tour (DAT) is coming to town, after successfully touring Bangkok, Thailand (2006) and Jakarta, Indonesia (2008) with over a quarter million visitors collectively; it now takes its stage in the Philippines having traveled 10,000km.

Visitors will be treated to a fully air-conditioned environment with an overall fun-fair set up of 12,000 sq.m (equivalent of 30 basketball courts). The venue houses over 31 interactive dinosaurs with the largest dinosaur towering up to two storey high.

The dinosaurs featured dates back to the Cretaceous and Jurassic periods. There are Tyrannosaurus, Triceraptors, Velociraptor, Brachiosaurus, Stegosaurus, and Megalosaurus to name a few. These creatures are brought to life with high quality latex that provides a texture visually similar to what scientists gauge the dinosaurs’ skin would resemble and feel like.

Marcus Luer, CEO of MAX Entertainment said: “The feedback has been very positive from the past visits in other countries and we are targeting the largest turnout of the Tour so far with an estimated 350,000 people over the 6 weeks duration”. Mr. Luer adds on to say that this is an interactive edutainment “walk through” exhibition with dramatic displays of life size Dinosaurs, dino train & simulator rides, merchandise, and fun activities for children and the whole family that anyone would not want to miss.
